YSecurity, LLC is actively seeking a Part-Time Mid-to-Senior-Level Red Team Security Consultant to enrich our cybersecurity team on a contractual basis. This pivotal role is tailored for seasoned professionals with a robust background in ethical hacking, who thrive in simulating sophisticated cyberattacks to enhance security frameworks. As a vital component of our Red Team, you will lead efforts in exposing vulnerabilities, devising complex attack strategies, and delivering comprehensive security solutions to elevate our clients' defense mechanisms. Responsibilities:
- Design and execute advanced red team operations, identifying critical vulnerabilities and assessing the resilience of security measures against sophisticated threats.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with blue team members to refine defensive strategies and enhance incident response plans based on red team findings.
- Develop and present detailed reports on security assessments, articulating risk implications and prioritizing recommendations for mitigating identified vulnerabilities.
- Stay at the forefront of cybersecurity trends, adversarial tactics, and emerging threats to continuously evolve red team methodologies.
- Guide the formulation and implementation of robust security policies and practices, leveraging insights gained from red team exercises.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams, fostering a culture of security awareness and resilience.
- Mentor junior red team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to nurture their development in offensive cybersecurity.
Requirements:
- Extensive professional experience in red teaming and ethical hacking.
- Proven track record of conducting high-impact red team operations, with a deep understanding of penetration testing tools, techniques, and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, web applications, and cloud environments, with the ability to identify and exploit vulnerabilities across diverse platforms.
